Scissor Skills Snowflakes

This is a fun activity using coffee filters or cupcake liners to create snowflakes. Not only does this work on scissor skills, it also works on motor planning, visual motor skills, and bilateral coordination.


First, flatten the coffee filter.

Then, fold the coffee filter in half.

And keep folding in half.

I drew lines for the student to cut.

Cut on the lines.

And now you have a snowflake, like this one.
